WELCOME!

We are very pleased that you are interested in pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Aging through the Studies in Aging Program at The University of Arizona.  We offer two gerontology certificates: a seven (7) unit disciplinary Foundational Graduate Certificate and a fifteen (15) unit interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate.

For your convenience the majority of our courses are offered online, making it possible for you to complete all of the course requirements online.  And, a few of our courses are still held in a traditional classroom setting, for those who prefer this method of learning. The internship is developed in consultation with an advisor, with your needs in mind.  This is an opportunity for you to put your education to practical use and get started in the field of aging.

We sincerely hope that you will choose to pursue your Graduate Certificate in Aging at The University of Arizona.  If you have any questions, or if we may be of assistance in any way as you make your decision, please feel free to contact us directly at 520-626-5804, by email: loneill@aging.arizona.edu, or visit our website at www.gerontology.arizona.edu.
